New sensors track head acceleration during possible injurious events
Endevco has collaborated with the Air Force Research Lab and international motorsports racing leagues to develop a new tri-axial accelerometer to measure impacts during automotive crashes, sporting events and blast-related events. The miniature accelerometer is small enough to be placed in the ear canal portion of communication earplugs (earpieces) for measurements during multi-axial crash events.
