World’s Oldest Functional Endevco Sensor
Join a worldwide search for the oldest functional Endevco sensor! As an example,
the Model 2252 pictured below was last calibrated on April 14, 1969 with a sensitivity
of 2.18pC/g. The current calibration certificate dated January 19, 2007 shows the sensitivity
at 2.112pC/g and a 5% linearity out to 20kHz. Now that’s a reliable sensor! If you have
a unit from 1969 or before we’d love to hear about it!
Awards
Monthly Prize Award – Each month, from March through October 2007,
we will select a winner based upon the vintage, usage and performance of the sensor officially
submitted and the winner will receive a free re-calibration of that sensor, a free calibration
of an additional sensor, an Endevco shoulder bag, laser pen and t-shirt.
Grand Prize – In November we will select the entrant that best
represents Endevco’s reliability and performance from all official submissions during the contest
period and award a Grand prize consisting of:
- $5000 in Endevco Test Essential products or training services.

Most Amazing Application Stories
With over 60 years of providing sensors for the world’s most demanding applications,
we know you have some great application stories and images and this is the perfect
time to share them. We’re looking for stories and images that would leave the “Mythbusters”
team speechless! Drop test of a tanker? Crash test at 300mph? How about the smallest
vibration ever recorded? These are just examples of the stories we’re looking for.

World’s Oldest Endevco Literature
For decades Endevco has been publishing respected technical papers, test references
and recommended practices – as well as very creative advertising campaigns. We will
be sharing some of these each month in “Measurement Endeavors” and looking for submissions
from our colleagues throughout the world.

we will select the oldest item to publish in our Measurement Endeavors e-newsletter and the
winner will receive an Endevco Laser & LED light and Endevco t-shirt.

Competition Rules
- All submissions must be received through the official entry page at www.endevco.com/60years
- To be eligible for monthly awards entries must be received no later than the last calendar day of the month.
- To be eligible for the grand prize in each category entries must be received no later than October 26, 2007.
- Grand prize awards will be announced in November 2007 and all benefits must be claimed by December 31, 2008. Winners will be notified via the e-mail address indicated on the entry form.
- Endevco reserves the right to change or substitute awards at will and without notice or as required to comply with applicable laws.
- Prize awards void where prohibited by law or corporate policies. If corporate policies limit prize amounts Endevco will award prizes up to that amount. No substitutions or cash alternatives will be offered for prizes awarded.
- This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. The Contestant agrees to indemnify and hold Endevco, its employees, affiliates and representatives harmless from and against any and all loss, cost, damage, liability and expense which the Contestant may suffer, sustain or incur as a result of or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
